Hello Beautiful Souls,
I am hoping each of you is doing well. Always know you're appreciated, loved, and thought of. Life gets busy but I try to share a post when I am inspired because I take it seriously and find that there are some of you that need the reassurance or comfort. I have always been spiritually intuned with my gifts and my personal heart full of love, compassion, empathy and so much more.
In a world that often rushes by at breakneck speed, it's easy to forget that taking care of our mental health is just as crucial as tending to our physical well-being. Mental health is an integral part of our overall health, and it deserves our attention, understanding, and support.
I made the picture (above ) with one of my art pieces years ago. I find inspiration and clarity when I use my talents for good.
Here is something I like to share with you that had a profound effect on me for one of my classes... I hope it helps you in some way...
Just finished 'Girl, Interrupted' by Susanna Kaysen for a class assignment. This book took me on a journey through the author's experiences in a 1960s mental institution. It's a powerful story that explores mental health, the fine line between 'normal' and 'mentally ill,' and the need for empathy.
As someone who's faced my own mental health challenges, I resonated with Susanna's candid account. Her book challenges the stigma around mental health and emphasizes the importance of understanding and support.
One quote that stuck with me: "'Don’t ask me those questions! Don’t ask me what life means or how we know reality or why we have to suffer so much. Don’t talk about how nothing feels real, how everything is coated with gelatin and shining like oil in the sun...' - Susanna Kaysen, 'Girl, Interrupted,' Page 116."
This quote vividly captures the overwhelming thoughts some people with mental health issues experience. They want to avoid hard questions and distressing thoughts. It's a reminder of the need for understanding and support for those going through such intense experiences.
Let's break the stigma and offer help to those on their own mental health journeys.
Mental health challenges can affect anyone. One of the most powerful tools in facing these challenges is the support of friends, family, or mental health professionals. Knowing that someone cares and understands can make all the difference. So, reach out, lean on your support network, and remember, you're not alone on this journey.
Strength doesn't always manifest as a bulging bicep or an unyielding will. Mental strength, often unseen by the world, is just as remarkable. Mental strength is a testament to your resilience and your capacity to overcome adversity.
Resilience is the cornerstone of mental health. It's the ability to bounce back from life's setbacks, to adapt to change, and to grow through adversity. In a world that can often feel overwhelming, remember that your mental health matters. It's a vital part of your well-being, and taking care of it is a sign of strength, not weakness.
You are loved and are important NOT ASHAMED OF WHO YOU ARE.
Keep shining. Be inspired.

Hello beautiful souls 💜 Thought I'd share a spiritual thought of mine that I had in the past and still resonates with me .
As I was noticing the beauty this morning, I started thinking alot of the atonement.
It's like trees,, we as humans have challenges and each season of challenges we shed the outer part and bring the inner beauty outward.
Leaves and branches fall off trees and later, new season they blossom again. Renewed. Refreshed.
I think of this as the Savior's Atonement. I, personally have broken my own personal "limbs" , healed my "trunk" which is the heart and shed my leaves and branches. The Savior is always there. He knows each one of us. He has suffered the pain, emotions, challenges and more. I'm grateful through my covenants I can continue to be renewed, cleansed, healed, and know that in all changes, I am a beautiful daughter of God. Just as each of us is Beautiful and special sons and daughters of God.
May we all try to respect each other and our beliefs, opinions, ideas and most of all a beautiful person with so much to offer. We don't have to agree or disagree on everything, but we're all in this together, it's called Life. 😉 So why not enjoy it while you can and learn and grow . Just a thought.

I wrote this poem in 2015 after losing my last grandma who I was close too along with few friends.
There were many suggested to turn my poem into a song . So as a rough draft I did that with help from a friend John who put some music to it.
I really want to make a cd . I have many lyrics and a voice but I don't make music to complete a song. Since I was little I have always used language and the arts to help understand myself and others better. To serve, love and support through my talents.
One day when I can afford and find some willing to help make that cd, it will be a blessing. Being a singer and I was in choir, ensemble, plays, programs, chorus, solo etc.
So here I share part of my heart. I hope you share with others that may be struggling or you're missing your loved ones. Or those about to pass on. I feel for you. I send my love and most of all my heart through a song or poem however you wish to understand the emotions and words. My heart is with you. May you find comfort in my words.
Here is the rough draft of song years ago. It will be better one day if that day opens.

THAT MOMENT By Jackie Telford (C) 2015
That moment when you touched my life.
That moment when I never wanted you to leave my side.
That moment i cried so hard or felt broken inside
That moment i didn't want to say goodbye.
I love you so much and hurt at the same time.
Nobody can understand the pain i feel inside
Wherever you are you always have a place
Deep inside my heart that i can't erase.
No matter if we saw each other day by day
I know you loved me even the same.
You are gone and it takes time to comprehend
Loving you grows stronger with no end
That moment you were gone i just knew
That it was real and i had to believe it too.
That moment that your pain was gone
I knew you were in a place where you belonged.
Say hello to all the loved ones and hug them for me
Have them do the same for you from me
I can't express what you mean to me
I can't express how you touched so many lives
I just want to express you were always loving and didn't think twice.
No matter the reason you filled our life with joy
You laughed, you cried, and you never left anyone behind you were so very nice.
Only to notice that moment is still
Wishing i could hug you one last time
Wishing i didn't have to say bye
WIshing i spent more time with you
Wishing you knew how much i cared for you.
No matter how you touched my life
No matter who you were in my life
You loved me no matter what.
The words you told me will always stay
Deep inside me and reminded on my bad days.
Your sweet spirit that everyone knew
Will guide and keep me going through
Never giving up hope to see you again
Because that is eternity my friend
I know where you are and so glad of that.
Thank you heavenly father for sharing with me
An angel who loved so many unconditionally.
Because of that moment it helps when you went away
Being able to look Brighter each day
.As you listen to my words and see my tears
I love you forever and will not fear
For one day we will be together
We will always stay close together
But now as you part for a short time
Know that others you touched in your life
Will remember you too and we all stick together
Because you taught to love one another and we all belong together forever.
Till we meet again i want you to know loving you never ends
Till we meet again my wonderful friend.....
