Hello beautiful Souls,
As the holidays approach, life has been a whirlwind of activity for us. I've been immersed in my Fall semester at school, which will conclude in mid-December. And, as we look ahead, my final semester for Spring 2024 is just around the corner. Graduation May 2024.
The light at the end of the academic tunnel is becoming brighter and more inspiring with each passing day, as I'll soon graduate with my Bachelor's in Family Science from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. It's been a long journey, but we're getting there!
Speaking of journeys, Tarl, my loving husband, and I find ourselves in the beautiful town of Washington, Utah, not far from St. George. We've been exploring the stunning landscapes, getting to know our new community, and embracing the charm of our new home. It's truly a season to be thankful for all the beauty that surrounds us.
One thing that brings us immense joy is sharing our talents in creative works. Tarl and I both have a passion for storytelling, art, writing, and more. It's not just a hobby; it's a way for us to express our innermost thoughts and emotions. Through our creativity, we connect with one another on a deeper level and with the world around us.
On a personal note, I've been continuing my journey to better health. I've been managing my diabetes with the help of insulin pumps, dealing with gastroparesis, and working closely with specialists to address my health concerns. Lately, I've been undergoing various tests and consultations for my sinus tachycardia, a condition that can raise my heart rate up to 140 even when I'm at rest. I'm waiting to see a Cardiac Electrophysiologist for further review and testing. It's like running a marathon, but I'm determined to keep moving forward with a positive outlook, and a touch of humor is always helpful.
Tarl has been embracing the beauty of working from home as a technical writer. He's been pouring his creativity into his projects, weaving fascinating stories, and making our home a place where inspiration flows freely during the evenings and weekends. It's a delight to witness his passion in action, and it's something that truly makes our daily lives more beautiful. Go after your dreams and support others in their own dreams.
As the holiday season approaches, we are filled with excitement. This will be our first time spending the holidays in Utah, and we're looking forward to the new traditions we'll create. We're grateful for everyone who is a part of our lives, and we carry that gratitude with us every single day, not just during the "holiday" season. Life is a gift, and we cherish it in every moment.
On a recent Sunday, Tarl and I had the privilege of giving a talk at our church on caring for others and being self-reliant. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our experiences and offer support to our fellow church members. Caring for one another and building self-reliance is a philosophy we hold dear, and it's an honor to be able to give back in this way.
In closing, we'd like to remind you to do your best every day, no matter what challenges you face. Life is a journey, and sometimes it's a marathon, sometimes it's a sprint, but it's always worth it. We revel in the views of the mountain deserts, the warm sunshine, and the everyday joys of life together.
We want to express our love and gratitude to all those who support us on this beautiful journey. Thank you for being a part of our lives and for being part of the light that brightens our path.
Keep Shining ~Be Inspired ~

Hello Beautiful Souls :) Hope you're doing well. Just wanted to share some inspiration while we tackle more days, weeks, and months ahead, that way you have something to fall back on when you need a reminder.
Life is a complex tapestry of experiences, filled with ups and downs, joys, and sorrows. Sometimes, it feels like the world is testing us beyond our limits, pushing us to the brink of despair. In these moments, it's crucial to remember that it's okay to have a hard time, to suffer, to express your vulnerability.
It's also essential to remind yourself that amidst the trials, you possess the strength to endure and thrive. Each of us matters, and your struggles are real. This blog post aims to inspire you to harness your skills, desires, knowledge, passions, and talents to better understand yourself and others, to find the good in all circumstances, and to keep moving forward.
Being vulnerable is not a sign of weakness. It takes courage to admit your struggles and seek support from others. Remember, it's okay to shed tears, to share your fears, and to ask for help. Vulnerability consists of empathy and compassion, not only for others but also for yourself.
Find the Good in All Circumstances. Life's challenges can be daunting, but within every hardship lies an opportunity for growth and transformation. Instead of dwelling on what's going wrong, focus on what you can learn from your experiences. Adversity often brings out the best in people, teaching resilience, patience, and gratitude. Keep in mind that even the most challenging circumstances can lead to personal breakthroughs and positive change.
Discover Your Talents and Passions. Your unique talents and passions are powerful tools for self-discovery and personal development. Take the time to explore your interests and hobbies. What activities light up your soul? What could you spend hours doing without getting tired or bored? Your passions and talents are integral to understanding who you are at your core. They offer a pathway to self-fulfillment and purpose.
Sharing your expertise and experiences can create meaningful connections and build a sense of belonging. When you use your skills and knowledge to help others, you not only make a positive impact on their lives but also gain a deeper understanding of your own capabilities and potential.
Remember: You Matter. Your existence has an impact on the world around you, and your unique perspective contributes to the diversity of human experiences. Your struggles, your triumphs, your journey—it all matters. Don't underestimate the value of your presence in this world.
Always remember to keep going. No matter how hard it gets. You can experience hurt and all other emotions and matters, but you must keep going to know that there is something better in the end.
Life is a marathon, not a sprint. It's important to acknowledge that there will be setbacks along the way, but these setbacks do not define your journey. What matters most is your determination to keep going. Perseverance in the face of adversity is a testament to your strength and resilience. When you keep moving forward, you not only overcome obstacles but also create a life that reflects your true potential.
Know that YOU MATTER. EACH OF US AROUND THE WORLD MATTERS.
Focus on the day~ Find yourself :)
Keep shining ~ Be Inspired ~

Hello, There Beautiful Souls ! It's been a bit since I caught you up on my health. I personally wished moving to Southern Utah In Mid May 2023 would magically ''Heal '' me. In ways it did of enjoying life so much more, but it's been so busy.
Tarl and I are enjoying life in this beautiful new chapter. It's been busy for both of us, he has been healing his hip/sacroiliac joint that got twisted and going to a chiropractor. Along with that being busy with work and other projects. It's so nice to be here and we're so blessed to stay with his Grandpa Jack. He sure is an amazing man * and Tarl's family) Finally able to see my in-laws after almost 3 years since getting married.
I've been seeing specialists as I was seeing and planning in Texas. My sugars are doing wonderful and my gastroparesis is there but not as bad. I'm watching what I eat and working on getting to see a GI Doctor established here. I have upcoming appointments with the Ent, colorectal surgeon, Hematologist, Family doctor, Sleep doctor, rheumatologist, and any I forgot to mention.
Dealing with my Inflammatory Arthritis, Fibromyalgia was added, osteoarthritis, and chronic fatigue. I started B-12 Shots as well as did a sleep study. I've also stayed up on my blood work and will get results over the next few weeks. Honestly, I'm just enjoying the blessings and counting them daily.
Each day brings new challenges but we are so blessed. Sometimes I feel really good and other times I can sleep all day hoping nausea, discomfort, and pain can subside with my pain, neuropathy and really head to toe of discomfort. I work on my music, art, writing, help clean, cook, walk, or whatever else I am able for that day.
It has been busy settling in Utah for the last few weeks and now getting settled with all the upcoming appointments. Other than that I just do my best. There's no easy fix and it is complicated but I will say that my depression, anxiety, and ptsd have calmed down. I am embracing all I can with my art and expressing how I feel through new projects.
I am grateful that Tarl and I are here. We truly are so grateful and glad we can be close to both our families, friends and embrace this new life together. The mountains are beautiful. Our church family is amazing. Our family and friends are just so loving and that's what life is all about. Being surrounded by those that you treasure and enjoy the journey. We pray that our home sells in Texas...Soon... So, if you want to say an extra prayer that would be great.
Despite all that is going on and the extreme fatigue I encounter, I am blessed to continue to enjoy life hand in hand with my eternal companion Tarl. We sure have fun together. Hopefully in the next few weeks, we'll get more answers and my energy will get better.
I will finish my Family Science degree in Fall 2023/Spring 2024.. I have 7 Classes left and I couldn't quite finish or start this summer, but that's quite alright. Health is so important and that is your Physical, Spiritual, and Emotional. I'm excited to continue my journey and that is each day.
We wish you all the best. Hope you continue to shine. We'll post as news or inspiration comes.
Lots of love
Keep Shining. Be Inspired
