Hello Beautiful Souls 😍
I would like to share some thoughts with you . I hope you know how amazing and important you are 💜
Life is a series of choices and challenges, each shaping us in profound ways. As we journey through these experiences, we learn the importance of forgiveness and acceptance—not just of others, but of ourselves.
Many years ago, I faced decisions that led to significant changes in my life. These moments came with their share of pain and heartbreak, feelings of isolation, and times when only faith seemed to offer a guiding light. However, these experiences have been crucial in teaching me the power of resilience and the importance of looking inward for peace and closure.
Over time, I've learned to shift my focus from lingering on past hurts to understanding and embracing the lessons they offer. The process of healing isn't about denying the pain or the past but about learning to live with it constructively. It's about transforming our wounds into wisdom and finding strength in our vulnerabilities.
Society often has its own narrative about our lives, making assumptions and judgments without full understanding. It's vital to remember that our self-worth and truth aren't defined by these external perceptions.
True acceptance comes from within and involves embracing all facets of our lives—the good and the painful. In my faith, I've found a profound example of unconditional love and judgment free of bias.
Believing in Christ's presence on my toughest days has given me strength and comfort, affirming that I am never truly alone. This spiritual support has encouraged me to forgive, not only others but also myself, which has been essential in my journey towards self-acceptance.
Today, I focus on celebrating the present and embracing the future's potential. I am thankful for every experience as each has contributed to the depth of my character and the breadth of my understanding.By sharing our stories, we connect on a human level, recognizing our shared struggles and collective strength.
This isn't about seeking approval but about offering and finding solace in shared human experiences. Each narrative has the power to inspire, heal, and encourage others.
As we navigate our paths, let us choose with courage, forgive with depth, and love with all our hearts. It's in these choices that we find true freedom and fulfillment. Remember, the journey is as important as the destination and every step, a lesson in becoming who we are meant to be.
To all who are finding their way: know that your story matters, your challenges are valid, and your victories are worth celebrating. Embrace your journey with an open heart and a brave spirit.
Keep shining ✨️ Be inspired ✨️

Hello Beautiful Souls,
As the holiday season envelops us in its warmth, I'm drawn to the cherished memories that define this time of year. It's not just about the decorations or the presents; it's about the timeless traditions that have shaped my life and continue to guide my journey.
Growing up in a bustling household of 13 kids with two incredible parents, the holidays were a symphony of laughter, chaos, and unbreakable bonds. However, amidst the joy, there are threads of challenges that have been woven into the tapestry of our family's story.
My mother, a beacon of strength and love, battles Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Her illness, especially as she approaches her 80s, has become a poignant reminder of life's fragility. Witnessing her journey has taught me about resilience and the enduring power of love.
My father, at 80 years old, stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment and dedication. Their love story, spanning over five decades, is a testament to enduring love amidst trials. Despite the hardships and the toll of my mother's illness, their bond remains unshakable, serving as a guiding light for Tarl and me in our nearly four years together and our sights for eternity.
Their example, their sacrifice, and their profound love have been the foundation upon which our family was built. From raising nine biological children to embracing four of us through adoption, their love knows no boundaries. It's this essence of love and resilience that makes the holidays all the more precious.
Christmas, to me, isn't just about festive adornments or lavish gifts; it's a celebration of family, of enduring love that weathers life's storms. The memories etched in my heart are of moments spent together, amidst the backdrop of challenges and joys that define our journey.
The absence of children in our own lives doesn't diminish the depth of our gratitude for the present. We're embracing opportunities to grow personally, professionally, and as partners, building a foundation rooted in love and faith for the road ahead.
The belief in learning, growing, and being vessels of love is firmly rooted in our faith. While our beliefs may differ, the core remains—a commitment to spreading empathy, compassion, and kindness.
In navigating our own challenges and learning to express our emotions authentically, we've found solace in being open and vulnerable. It's in these moments that we've discovered the true essence of connection and the power of shared experiences.
To all the beautiful souls navigating their own journeys, know that amidst the chaos and uncertainty, there's a thread of hope and love weaving through it all. Each day offers an opportunity to create meaningful memories, to share your light, and to touch lives.
During the holidays. It's just him and I.
One day in the beautiful eternity to come we'll have children but in the meantime, we have our talents, creative projects, work, finishing a degree, and getting me a wonderful career that lies ahead. Holidays come at certain times of year but what we both realize is to make each day count. We all have different challenges and trials and I always love My husband Tarl, an INTJ, and I, an INFJ, navigate our unique paths, recognizing that vulnerability and expression don't always come easily. Yet, in our differences, we've found a harmony that defines our bond—an intertwining of strengths and weaknesses that complement each other.
Tarl often shares a perspective that resonates deeply—our challenges in life are akin to choosing from a 'tribulation buffet' before arriving on this Earth. It's a reminder that despite certain unfulfilled desires, life is still a gift to be celebrated and lived to its fullest.
We all can learn and grow, and we're blessed with opportunities in life. These opportunities allow us to strive to be the best versions of ourselves, in line with what we believe our Savior Jesus Christ would want us to be. It's not about what we have or don't have—it's about how we use our time and experiences to spread love. Love comes in many forms: empathy, compassion, teaching, learning, and sharing our talents and passions, whether it's through singing, writing, dancing, or any other skill that comes from the heart.
Being open and personal about our feelings is important. Understanding and accepting ourselves and others take time, but it's crucial for personal growth. It's about acknowledging our limits, truths, and passions. My husband, Tarl, and I have learned this, and it doesn't make us any less; it simply means accepting who we are. This acceptance has allowed us to live a fulfilling life together centered on Christ, accepting challenges constructively, and treasuring our life's journey together.
For me, helping and supporting others is a motivation that goes straight to my heart. I see it as a blessing, using my own experiences to bring love and empathy to others. Even in the darkest of days, I held onto memories that were dear to me, and I wish to share that light with others.
It's about nurturing the light within us and sharing it with the world, always holding onto hope and staying open to possibilities. Miracles do happen, but until then, it's up to us to do our best. We believe that our Heavenly Parents and Savior Jesus Christ understand our deepest desires. It's essential to believe in oneself and in the endless opportunities and paths that lie ahead. Never give up. Reach out to others, find that light within you, and take one step at a time, embracing each feeling and experience along the way.
Our faith anchors us in a belief in learning, growing, and being conduits of love and compassion. It's a faith that propels us forward, believing that with faith, doors open, and fears dissipate.
In navigating life's challenges, we've found solace in being vulnerable and open. It's through these moments that we've discovered the true essence of connection and the power of shared experiences.
To all the beautiful souls journeying alongside us, your presence and deepest wishes are acknowledged and valued. Despite life's complexities, there's a thread of hope and love that intertwines through it all.
As we approach the holiday season, let our hearts be filled with love, our spirits with joy, and our days with moments worth cherishing. From Tarl and me, our hearts overflow with love and prayers for each and every one of you.
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and always remember: Keep shining and be inspired!
With love and warm wishes,

Hello Beautiful Souls ~
Life is sure busy! Between Tarl and his busy work, projects, and unpacking the last bit in our home, and Tarl and I both having nasty colds for over a week now, We needed to get out in the sunshine and see the beautiful state of Utah we're blessed to live in.
We've been in our beautiful townhome for a month now and love it. Above is a picture I took of Pine Mountain here in Washington/St. George Utah where we live. Isn't it beautiful?
I've been busy with school and health appointments. Also putting in a lot of job applications as I graduate in Spring 2024 with my Family Science degree. So, why wait? when I can enjoy the numerous interviews, applications, and denials hahaha. It's all part of the process. I may be 40 but I got quite a bit of years left and want a career.
I love that Tarl and I can make sure we make time for ourselves together. Whether it's a drive, a walk, exploring, creating, or reading next to each other. Life can get busy but being with those you love is so important. MAKE TIME~ Even if you don't have a special someone, I understand, we've all been there but make time with someone or those you love dear.
We've learned a lot through my horrible sickness *you can read previous blog posts to understand that part. It was very hard on both of us and very scary. I literally thought it was the end of me. With a lot of prayers, determination, support, love, the move, amazing specialists, and constant work, I am better and stable. My insulin pump is doing good. My gastroparesis is stable. My emotional and spiritual health is amazing.
Having my best friend and my love by my side and me by his side made life even more beautiful, just like looking outside and seeing the beautiful desert, mountains, dirt, plants and so much more. God makes beautiful things. Yes, we have challenges but despite how ''ugly'' it can be, at the end of the challenge or trial, it's actually quite an amazing and beautiful destination.
I'm not saying we're totally 100 percent better but we are 100 percent sure how blessed we are to have each other. No matter how many bumps in the road or trials we have faced, we really do stop and appreciate the beautiful trials and challenges we have overcome.
There's no going back. There's no different direction you can choose once you choose a path, but there is so much beautiful scenery along the way and that is with each other too. The growth, determination, learning, growing, faith-building, and just in awe of how incredibly blessed we are. So what does this tell you? Don't give up. Don't just stay in a funk and not live. Don't let your challenges and trials stop you from living.
No amount of sickness and disasters and the way you feel should stop you from living. It's a time for you personally to see how you can live and learn during those times and have faith in every step you take. No matter how big or small that step is, YOU ARE DOING IT. YOU CHOOSE. Each of us has our free agency. We choose whether to live or just ride out the storms missing beautiful moments.
I am choosing one day at a time. No matter how I feel. No matter how busy life can be. Enjoying my life with Tarl. Enjoying the outside. Enjoying the sun on my face. Enjoying the appointments, my ups and downs. I am enjoying really researching, pondering, praying, and consulting for the right career for me. Doesn't matter it's later in my life, because I am doing it. Doesn't matter if you are doing something later, it's you're doing it.
Just take one day at a time. I know you hear it a lot or compare yourself with others. That's fine. I'm not going to tell you how to live your life. I'm just putting this out there that each day is a new opportunity whether each of us is blessed to see it or not. No matter how hard it is or easy it may be.
See the sunshine and the beautiful scenery for the day. Worry about tomorrow later. One step. One choice. Know how much you are worth it and not forgotten. God created you. He knows before you know what will happen. You are given this chance and life now and we may not understand why but that's okay. We're given so much joy, blessings, knowledge, skills, opportunities, passions, talents, and each other to expand our days.
I am just blessed. I am blessed I can choose to stop and just soak in the beautiful moments with Tarl. No matter how hard things get or how busy, I choose. That's what life is about. You choose. Your free agency. I choose Life :) I choose the good, bad, and ugly and see the beautiful blessings.
Keep shining ~ Be Inspired ~
